Manufacture and Care Guide

Fabrics – Warped Textiles believes in keeping manufacturing in Scotland as much as possible to ensure the highest quality and standards. Handwoven fabrics have all been lovingly produced in Glasgow using artisan techniques and then washed and finished by Chantal.

Many of Warped Textiles fabrics are hand woven and will therefore have natural and manufacturing characteristics such as slubs and knots. I recommend cleaning in accordance with the care instructions on your products label. Fabrics should be kept out of direct sunlight and heat to protect them from fading. All fabrics are supplied without any soil or flame retardant coatings.

Some limited edition blankets and cushions may have been mill woven in Scotland, as part of a small batch production. In order to get the best out of your Warped Textiles products I recommend following the washing instructions below:

Cushions - Dry clean only

Handwoven Scarfs and Cowls - Hand wash using lukewarm water and a delicate detergent, do not agitate the fabric. Gently rinse at the same temperature and squeeze out the excess water. Carefully reshape your product and dry flat.
